PUHI is our range of natural skin-care from Manawa Honey NZ. PUHI means ‘adored one’, even ‘indulged’, in te reo Maori. The logo is the striking moko kauae (chin tattoo), borne by Maori women. Our kaupapa (intent) then is to adore – totally indulge – those who join us using our natural and healing skin-care designed with New Zealand indigenous honeys and botanicals.
A smooth pure and natural balm, with the wondrous properties of high-grade MÄnuka Honey and MÄnuka Oil.
Directions for use: Apply as often as 2-3 times a day to dry, damaged skin or afflicted areas. Use to improve and protect your skin; to promote healing and to treat skin affliction such as psoriasis, eczema, or minor wounds.
Ingredients: Contains MÄnuka Honey MGO 250+; Essential MÄnuka Oil; Grapeseed Oil; Beeswax.
MÄnuka MG250+ Honey: MÄnuka is a shrub, native to New Zealand, which our ancestors traditionally used for medicinal purposes, from healing wounds to fighting infection. The honey from MÄnuka is now world-famous for having antibiotic, antioxidant, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and even anti-fungal properties. Our MÄnuka MG250+ Honey is used is to bring all these benefits to care for and improve your skin.
MÄnuka Essential Oil contains antioxidants that help to protect the skin from the harmful action of free radicals, and has great antibiotic properties. So, MÄnuka Oil helps to prevent and to fight infection and promotes anti-aging and overall skin health.
Grapeseed Oil is known to make the skin softer and more elastic – a great carrier oil for our balm.
Beeswax is also known to heal and softens skin, and is an antibacterial agent. It can help fight conditions like acne, dry skin, eczema and stretch marks.
